About Roxanne

Roxanne is a Resource Specialist working with learning handicapped children. She spends her days teaching young kids (2nd - 5th grade) how to read and write. Because she knows how difficult school can often be for these children, Roxanne does everything she can to make sure the Resource Center is a safe and loving place for the children she serves.

I, of course, as her husband might be a bit biased, but I not only believe that Roxanne is the most kind, thoughtful, and beautiful woman I have ever met, but I also know that she is terrific at her job. She treats these struggling children with the love and respect that she knows all of God's Children need and deserve. The kids make great strides when they work with her. Without doubt, Roxanne has found her life's calling.

About Barry

My husband Barry is a loving husband and a wonderful father to our two daughters, Julie and Lisa. Perhaps his greatest talent is his ability to listen. Whenever I need to talk about something, I can always count on Barry stopping to talk with me, no matter how busy he might be (I have learned, however, it is best not to begin a conversation with Barry during the final minutes of an Oakland Raider Game).

Barry is a loyal friend and takes a genuine interest in me and my accomplishments. He is trustworthy and dependable. He is generous with his time and is always willing to help clean up the house when it needs it (which is most of the time)! Barry helps out by cooking dinner three or four nights a week. He encourages me to take bike rides (which I love) and to visit with my family and friends. He is a hard worker and persistent in achieving his goals.

Barry is very spiritual in his approach to life. He is quick to forgive. He is flexible and adapts easily to changing situations. He is very handsome, happy and positive almost all the time, and I love him!
